Myeong-Dong Market

This past weekend we made a trip to the Myeong-Dong market. I heard it was a great shopping market with tons of stuff.  And it sure did have tons of stuff.... it also had tons of people! It was a cool experience but there was just so much stuff and so many people everywhere.. I did get one skirt for about $4 so it was worth it... AND.. they sell fruit and all sorts of food everywhere, they have the best fresh strawberries ever! :) One thing that seemed really popular here was squid... they had little vendors everywhere that were frying and drying out and cutting up squid.... pretty much anything you could do with it they were doing. And people would just eat it off a stick... like a corndog. It was a bit too much for me to try, I really wanted to take a picture of it but I didn't know if that was offensive or not, so I decided not to.

This is the pictures we took of some of the streets... they had lots of American stores and brands but also lots of Korean stuff.. They had a four story Forever 21... crazy.

And at the train station they sold these waffles that Kamron loves.. They fold them in half and put whip cream and chocolate in the middle. They were delicious!

  1. It looks like you guys are having a lot of fun! Live it up!!! yeah, squid is disgusting. I remember in 5th grade we dissected squids and then after we were done my teacher cooked them up with BBQ sauce. I tasted it, the flavor wasn't super bad because the bbq sauce masked it, but I just could NOT get over the gross texture! blah!

We have a huge 2 story Forever 21 in San Antonio, I couldn't imagine 4!!!! I could stay in there for hours! Are the prices at that F21 even cheaper than in America??
