Trip to I-DA-HO!

We were able to go home to Idaho for Christmas. It was so nice being able to visit after moving to Texas and having all our family finally get to meet Macy.  It's sad to live so far away, especially after Macy has been born... but we hope to visit a lot.

This was Macy's first time on a plane... she was only 2 months old! I was so nervous flying with her. I had heard so many stories from parents of their newborn babies crying the whole flight so I was scared more for other people around us!

But our amazing little gal slept the entire time! We had 2 different flights and she slept almost through each flight... she woke up just at the end of the second flight, just long enough to have a blow out! The bathroom with the changing table was out of order so I had to change her on the lid of the toilet in the tiny airplane bathroom as we were descending to land... with poop EVERYWHERE!  It was quite the adventure :)

Christmas was on a Sunday so we got up and went to church first and then came home to open our presents.  This is Macy in her adorable Christmas dress... It was so fun to show her off at church to people who actually care to see her... it was different here in Texas because nobody knows us, so no one was really excited when I had a baby... lame.

For New Years the Spaulding family rented a cabin in Pine, Idaho.  It was so nice and cozy. Everyone was able to make it up except for Aaron and Misty's family... which were very very missed! Darrin brought a 4 wheeler so we were able to pull each other on tubes. We also hooked tubes up to the back of the trucks and pulled each other.  It was fun playing in the snow, especially since there is NONE in Texas!

 Macy even got all dressed up in her winter outfit to play in the snow :)

 Macy's first trip in her baby bjorn.... she slept the whole way through IKEA... of course.

While we were home we took a quick trip down to Utah for my grandma's 80th birthday party... This is our most recent pic of the Morrison side of the fam.
